Many people add greens superfood blends to their smoothies but we like to go directly to the source- the king of superfoods- KALE! Don’t be afraid if you don’t like to eat greens though, all I taste in this smoothie is delicious mango; its so smooth and creamy it actually tastes like a mango milkshake.

My body craves this smoothie. It’s quite sad to admit but I often spend a large portion of the day thinking of food and probably 50% of that is thinking of this very smoothie. This is my go to as it makes me feel energized, powerful and my body shine.

It’s hydrating, nutritious, fresh and delicious. We prefer to use frozen mango and bananas in this smoothie as it adds even more creaminess and is easy to store but you could use fresh if they are in season and readily available where you live.

  • 3 frozen bananas
  • 1 cup of frozen mango
  • 3 cups of washed and destalked kale
  • 2 cups of coconut water
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 cup of ice


  1. Add all ingredients into a high-powered blender.
  2. Process on high until smooth (60sec/speed 10) and transfer into large glasses or jars.
  3. We garnished ours with a kale leaf, lemon wedge, goji berries and some edible flowers
